Lars, if this was a shoot-out between similarly-specced "cameras" I would agree with you, but with resolutions ranging from 13 to 41 MPix, comparisons at 100% are rather ridiculous. I'm not saying...

Definitely a poorly presented test. On a related note: why include the S4 Zoom in a group test without testing its main selling point? People bying the Samsung will mainly do so because of the...

if I owned a camera store I'd make sure to have one usb dock and offer a free firmware upgrade service to my customers. Might earn me an extra sale or two... (an AF adjustment service could be...

lol, the waterproof watch reference is very true indeed. In tiny letters it probably says somewhere that it can go down to 15-20m, but not for more than one minute before water seeps in... But...

Fantastic shot! The smeered reflections in the water and the cloud formation make this one very special. (a pity though for the CA)

Yep, that sounds like a much safer option to me too. Especially as I fear that most consumers won't take enough care when changing lenses, and will NOT be changing the rings every year either.

Somehow I find it hard to believe that it would catch 150-200$ more at re-sale... Good for you if it turns out you are right, but let me conclude like this: the cash over brains ratio of these 2nd...

@abortabort: Indeed, I find it hard to understand why anybody would pay a 200$ (40% !) premium. Lightroom at the moment is 129$ for a full version...

@abortabort: I could give you the Lightroom argument, but a higher re-sale value? I'm not convinced Leica-buyers are interested in 2nd hand cameras from a few years ago...

I just spent a few minutes comparing product shots of the Pana and the Leica. It's like identical twins: side-by-side there are a some slight differences, but if you see one by itself it's...
