I read wired remote control from the specs. Is it really true?
Or it's the same support for IR wireless remotes like in NEX series?
Very nice article, I enjoy reading it.
I'm looking forward to the stacking article. There are so many challenges when stacking but results well worth doing it! :)
crisarg: It's a very good application for the current price.
Nu stupid current activations like other Corel suites.
It's very fast.
Not bad at all.
Right now I'm cataloging last year images (about 25.000). The speed it's quite good, faster than Lightroom but not like in conversion speed. CPU usage is very low.
I browsed through a stack of about 150 images and it's very fast. In fact too fast for my taste, it goes from number 20 to 50 way too quickly. :)
The GUI is very similar to Bibble 5. It's very responsive.
Laster edit: you can create catalogs, I'm testing a big one right now.
I did a quick test converting 200 NEF images with Lightroom and AfterShot. Believe it or not, AfterShot is much faster. And I have a fast system.
Of course, it's worse than Lightroom in many areas like Noise Reduction, cataloging and others.
But still it's great to have some competition in the market.
It's a very good application for the current price.
Thanks for making the book available for free!
I enjoyed reading it and looking and the photos a lot!
Sometimes we don't have the possibility to try another angle or composition for background due to difficult ground or subject's position. What would you do in those situations?
Very nice article and pictures, I enjoyed reading it.
The robberlfy stack is great.
Looking forward to the next articles.
I'm wondering why you don't post some of you work on Flickr or something like it.
