On Pentax K-3 preview (961 comments in total)

You know what I would like to have? I would love to have this little gem with an EOS mount. Or please, Canon, give me an EOS SLR of similar build quality and size... I adore the Pentax concepts but the Lens market simply is too narrow for choice and (2nd hand) prices...

so they dump their silver expertise into touchscreens after dumping their gelantine expertise into cosmetics, what will be next, will fuji find out that processing chemicals may be re-used as a soy sauce substitute?

cheers, martin

are you shure this is a photography and not a painting? the moment is nicely captured, but lots of cropping/processing etc, so that this image lacks somehow technically...

sorry, my impression. best, martin

ugotvijay: At least Hassy responded to critics....not being silent like Canon on their 6D

yeah. and the response is: "well, we will not force you to buy it". this is exactly the way I like to be treated as a client 8-)

eddychan008: New if they can steer clear of this mess and instead to do a full frame (Sony R1X) with exotic Hassy lens, remove the AA filter ....

"hassy lens"? that is the problem, they never made own lenses... so no expertise there, I am afraid (compared with Leica or Zeiss)

samhain: You know what's really funny?
Photographers are supposed to be the 'creative types', working in a creative industry.
Yet all I see are a bunch of fuddy duddy negative comments that sound like something close-minded grandparents would say.
This product is extremely unique, interesting and so far outside of the box it isn't even funny.
You would think people would be more supportive of this kind of thinking, even if they aren't interested in buying one.

I for one applaud Sony/Hasselblad for their weird, funky new camera.
Bravo Hassony, bravo!!

creative people need tools, not toys. you obviously have no idea about creativity and how creative people work.

zoomf: This is not for plebians. Don't forget Maybach.

maybach is about to be cancelled. will hasselblad be cancelled, too, soon? I think so, after learning about this crappy stuff.

I dont wanna spoil the fun, but sorry, how is this DOF possible in ONE shot of a APS-C, 31mm, f/7.1??? combining two images would do the trick, but against the rules...? hmmmm.... :-/

..from an artistic point of view. aspect, colors, graphics are beautiful. from technical side, I would have preferred the image overall a little lighter, some more structure in the dark parts, the highlights and the colors just this bit more glowing... but alas... !!!
