that's something I am not that sure about any longer, when it comes to LR. Seeing what PhaseOne can do with RAF files from X-Trans based Fuji cameras in CaptureOne and comparing to what LR can do...

I agree, it's not that bad, it's just slow when you have more images and crashes often on Mac. The only 'advanced' (no it isn't) feature I miss is crop/rotate - that's it. And been reading that...

No, I'm not disputing that fact but for me it wasn't a problem since I switched to Fuji from old Nikon D40 :)

I shot few small concerts with X100 - don't get these comments about slow AF in low-light ;)
-
I planned to buy X100S originally to replace my X100 but then I was thinking what's the point of another X-Trans based camera if Fuji will release 23mm lens at some point. That's why I decided to...

The new SPP seems to be doing some magic on ISO800 files, on the previous version I have seen some problems. Sure, there's slight loss of colour but it isn't that bad ;) I've seen even some results...

:) nope, you're not going crazy, I bought DP2M a month ago and there's no comparison with Fuji. I use Fuji as general walk around camera and for low light and DP2M for when it really matters.
It...

I hear you!!!! Went to Palermo 3 weeks ago, took with me DP2M, X-Pro1 with 18mm f/2 and 35mm f/1.4 lenses, Leica M6 with Voight 50mm f/1.5.
Used all cameras, 2 rolls from M6, cca 100 photos from...

I will report back on the 'scanning' once I receive Nikon adapter. I decided to get old Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 which is true macro 1:1, I have a tripod and I bought cheap lightbox for viewing...

Yep, agree, I guess it's down to the fact that these days we shoot mostly crap and the only thing which might excel is technical quality over the subject of the frame.
I started to shoot on film...

I'm about to set up 'scanning' rig based on X-Pro1 form Fuji and Nikon 60mm F/2.8 Macro lens (older AF-D model). Waiting for adapter so I can mount it. From what I've read at various sources you...

I disagree, If you want to print on 8" x 10" you need more than 3-4MP, at least 6MP, unless viewing distance is large, but then you would want to print larger ;) It really depends on the target ppi.

I have both DP2M and X100 (and X-Pro1 too). It's the last day of my trip to Palermo and I could fully test Sigma in the field. The way I see it is as follows:- excellent IQ in very good light-...

The same here, I got mine last Saturday and have been amazed by the results, and everything looks so natural, no sharpening needed :) The lens on DP2 Merrill is truly stunning. The SPP isn't that...

I'm going to bookmark this as it really is relaxing to look at all these beautiful shots - it's like balm for soul, especially if a boss p***s me off :)

Hi there, I'm replacing it not like for like. X100S has X-Trans, I already have X-Trans based camera and it does better job than my trusty/rusty X100. It would make no sense to add another similar...

Thank you very much to all of you who took some time to shed more light into my question and I'm sorry if I started some heated debate regarding possible differences in rendering between DP2M and...
-
not my claims but thank you for clarification, it's hard to find somebody with both cameras.

I was heavy user of X100 but since I got X-Pro1 I didn't use it much. I was thinking at first about replacing it with X100S but then it was the same X-Trans sensor so images would be of the same...
