If you want family snapshot video than a small dedicated video cam is far better.
But than if you do family photography why do you need a DSLR at all? A small sensor camera is far cheaper smaller...

...of different strobes I always put them into a soft box. That is a lot better than any reflector which are not even.
I can put my softboxes on to the speedlight with those special adapters.

Theoretically yes in reality absolutely not.
I have different flashes and for video I use this kind of continuous light.
In my softbox I put 5 X 85W of CF tubes, so it is 425W of CF, that should...

...and no I don't miss OS.
It would be not bad but 150mm is still manageable, no problem with focusing, you have to keep the cam steady.

I have the lens (the version II there was a version I before that had some close focusing problem), and I love it my favorite lens.
Fast, relatively small (not very light) fast focusing, very...

I am also looking for something which would just blow up the LCD screen but would also use more resolution.
E-Bay is full of cheaper and more expensive-better LCD-s like that 7"-8"-10" you can...

Hi
my problem is that I use a hand strap that is attached to the bottom of the BG If I take away the BG the hand strap is too long and to readjust it is a pain so I never detache the BG from my...

Yes that is correct. And a very bit more DR as well. And the deep shadow noise is better with the D600.
But if you take all of that together I would only go to the D600 if you shoot in low life...

Thanks Moss
I think it is just natural that if you buy a new body take a day (at least) and fine tune all of your lenses, I did it every time. If the body can do it on the first place (this is why...

I had to fine tune all of my lenses for the D300. I think it is just natural to fine tune for the D7100.
Some hours of work that's it.. not a big deal.
Canon makes very good cam 's but how about...

Yeah metal BG is nice but it makes the whole setup quite heavy
My D300 is a heavy cam by itself but with the BG and 8 AA batteries it is just quite heavy.
Using it all day under hot sun it is just...

Fantastic write Moss, Thank you.
We should not forget one thing, it would be nice to be able to change aperture while shooting video (or in LW mode) but there is one thing you really need cine...

Thank You Mike
Waiting for your test and review, and a big Thank You for it.
I also refuse to pay $270 for a BG (I don't care how good it is, it just should not be that much)
I did it for my...

Can you confirm if these are the lenses you try to use???
No AF in liveWiev at all???
That would be a BIG...
