... for your kind words, to you both.
Steve, I have to agree with the fact that by doing what you suggest, the picture would be extremely more powerful, but, without entering the old and boring debate of where lines should be drawn, what I enjoy most is hunting for a capture. I do enhance with Lr but found I take more pride in a good capture than in a well postprocessed "recomposition". A matter of personal challenge.
Having said that, I really enjoyed viewing your work. Thanks for sharing.
I believe the time for complaints is in the submission period and not the voting or, even further, once the challenge has finished. The host allowed this entry, the voters decided it was the best and not one of them thought it was appropriate to use these votes as a tool to "punish" an unfit entry (no votes under 3.0 rating, impressive!). So: congratulations Sharpajek!
On a different note, I couldn't help observe that this challenge is hosted by one Bernard909, who is proving himself a very particular "rule tyrant", as can be appreciated in the heated quarrels that have appeared from several of his hosted challenges. There is a beautiful irony implicit in this win!
Having said that, I will always be thankful to all hosts for being hosts (including Bernard).
