Nice camera line up - crap lens line up. Whats the point of having slim cameras and 24 Mp if the whole package delivers either crap sharpness? I hope the 2013 snap pancake can deliver the sharpness...

About exposure time and ISO. I prefer 1-5 seconds exposure to catch the "fibres of light". The higher ISO and noise are in my opinion worth it.

Other colors appear mosty when its intense. Its when the solar wind reaches deeper in the atmosphere and exites other gases then those in the uppermost atmosphere. Colors can appear and disappear....
