ImagesInstyle: see how tiny that view finder is..a joke.the fuji s7100 or even the s5100 back in 2003had a viewfinder twice as big as the panasonicsand some other ones for that matter.
I bought the FZ150 a few months back, but returned it because I couldn't use the EVF properly while wearing my specs (which I do at all times due to astigmatism). Couldn't get the ol' eyeball close enough to the viewing slot and therefore got vignetting of the display. Didn't you have that problem?
If the masking around the edge of the viewing pane had been less I wouldn't have had any trouble. It's just some black paint on the inside of the pane, that's all! Easy fix. I'm sure I can't be the only one to have had this experience.
I sure hope Panasonic heard my appeal and took this into account for the FZ200. The EVF window looks a bit different but, as you wisely point out, we will have to try it out before we know.
