Manfred Bachmann: i´m sure the pictures are good, but they are not good processed. Microcontrast and sharpnes is not so great, but of course, it´s personal taste, so no complain.
My a6000 blows this thing out of the water.

I'm fairly certain they're all ACR conversions, or at least a vast majority are.

So what?

I have Nikons and Sonys, both are great, but i will not give up one for the other. I think Sony has figured out, they can not win the pro sector with small toy cameras, and so the A7 ii(r) are more traditional DSLR size, which i like!

just sRGB, and 1/60 flash sync. sounds strange, but on the other hand, for this typ of camera it´s enough.

codeNsnap: Bummer...my Christmas self gift has to be put on hold now. Will wait for Nikon to confirm that flare issue is indeed fixed in newer bodies or confirm that the issue is specific only to certain serial numbers. It will probably be a long wait.

it´s much more an issue to avoid this camera, because IQ is so amzing good, and for moments it could be tricky switching to 1,2 cropp mode works!

Very good review, except the comment of the buffer size!
Please Dpreview, can you confirm this?

Camerasetup for Speed:
Noisered. off
vignetting. off
disortion. off
ADL.off
12bit raw compressed, (which is 95% as good as 14bit uncompressed) and no jpg´s
sandisk extreme pro 95/mb (U3)!!

And now let it go. It shoots 100 shoots in burst, and just after3 seconds you can shoot the next 100 pics!

I have never shoot my D300 in 14bit raw, because it slows down to 2,5fps. Of course, for landscapes i was fine with 14bit, but here speed was not importend.
For me personal, buffersize is amazing good!

here in Austria the D750 is €2150.-, and the D610 is €1590.- which is impudence, compared to the price in US!

Now we know Sigma can produce excellent lenses, the next logical step must be an excellent dslr too! Photokina would be perfect for a presentation, and so we have not to be afraid of possible future incompatible lens/mounts combinations with canon and Nikon bodys!
