Now we know Sigma can produce excellent lenses, the next logical step must be an excellent dslr too! Photokina would be perfect for a presentation, and so we have not to be afraid of possible future incompatible lens/mounts combinations with canon and Nikon bodys!

Yesterday I have had both in hands, the A7 AF is faster! Nice cameras for sure and surprise for me, the EVF is really good!

I have no problem to spend 1700.- for a good lens, but why this cheap plastic garbage look?? It´s really a pain if you compare the latest Sigma A build quality with this 100.- toy look

I´m not sure many people would try this longer then one week, because the risk of a broken nose is very high.

Manfred Bachmann: Testshots with a Kit zoom?? Why not put an 50/1,4 or any other good lens on it? For me this shots shows nothing, because this lens is simply outresolved!

Amadou i know what you mean, but i have testshots with the 50/1,4 and it´s really night and day! The D7100 can not show her strength(resolution) with the Kitlens, the difference is simply amazing if you put a good prime on it!

jjnik: In the unaltered image you can barely see this. I'm not saying there is not an issue, but videos like this blow it WAY out of proportion. In most uses, you'd never even see that dust in your final image. I'd only be really concerned If it keeps doing this after a few cleanings.

and what also would be interesting, to clean the sensor and make the next 1000 shots...and again, maybe after 2000shots the problem is gone!?

MediaDigitalVideo: Sorry to say but I've seen better pictures than this. Any underwater pictures from the begining (fist seconds when swimmer gets into the waterpool after jumping from divingplatform). The only thing I see is that there is no progress in sportsphotography.

Make it better

this rating is ridiculous! OK, imagequality is good, but all the other things are very bad against the Nikon V1, which earns 69 points.
