  • Excellent timing and I like the pale blue colour cast - I am assuming the gull is white!
  • Great shots of great aircraft. Good to know the Canadian Lanc can still make it across the pond!
  • Fine shot of my old home city. Know it well. The McGill University medical building in the foreground - I graduated from McGill. Played football in McGill Stadium, just out of the shot to the left. ...
  • Very cool! the one with the bursting bubble at first looked like there was a roach or cricket highlighted on the wall. Take a close look. But perhaps I am too tired today!
  • Fabulous! Great advertisement for your business. (I liked the end of the stop motion when all the tools and garbage was picked up!) Stills at the end we great too. Natural lighting on the ...
  • Another review, from The Camera Store. Long video, but only about 10 minutes on the still shooting capabilities. Too long on the video aspects of the camera, IMO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o ...
  • Fine portrait/character shot. Processing is good; suits the image. Well done. Garth
  • Excellent portrait. The detail is fabulous. Nailed focus where it should be. At 100% I can see you in her eyes!
  • Replied in Toulon, France
Seeing as I have a post here that no-one has replied to, I thought I would not leave you in that status. Where were you headed that you were staying in Toulon for a night? The Med coast of France ...
  • Created discussions Couple of Rocky Mountain shots
Last week I took a couple of days to revive my landscape photograph. I have been shooting lots, but what clients want and lots of architectural stuff, not what I want. These shots are very common ...
  • Agree with DarylK. Clean up the background - it is distracting. Get lower -  at least level. Looking down at children puts them in an inferior position. Tone down exposure a bit - can be done in post.
  • Looks great on my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro. I too use Zenfolio. Excellent photos. I have seen quite a bit of your work here on DPReview but enjoyed the non military photos as well. A fine portfolio ...
  • I have had this happen while shooting for real estate listings. WB has been on auto. One shot is fine, next is blue. I think it is due to a bit of underexposure. My challenges have been with ...
  • Excellent! And your first try! I'd say you have it pretty well down.A very difficult thing to do. I have tried it with my son's car going about 100K, never at the speeds these guys go, and didn't ...
  • I enjoyed your photos. I was there several decades ago - stayed in Winchelsea right next door. What is interesting is that in the 1300's, Rye and Winchelsea were ports! The sea has receded several ...
  • Sorry - 170-500 f5.0-6.3. - brain fade when typing.
  • Created discussions The Pond across the street
This spring the pond across the street is larger than usual and it seems different waterfowl are using it. Usually just Mallards, but these I have shot over the last two days: Redhead Duck Northern ...
  • Timing. This was taken in a forested area and the morning sunlight shines between two houses, lighting up the hummingbird feeder, yet leaving the evergreen forest in the background in the dark ...
  • I think these last one are fabulous. Personally, I prefer to see some movement in the wings, shows the hummer is alive, not a stuffed one, lol! This is about the best I have done - no flash but ...
  • Wow. Excellent work. The Sigma 500? Garth
