wow !!! .. what a commercial rapidity .. when dpr has posted its "Review in progress: Pentax K-5 II and K-5 II S" I have expected a more recent CANIKON camera imminent in-depth review; .. well done guys .. but stop taking no CANIKONers for idiots ;) :)
Jimmy jang Boo: I also think it wouldn't be a bad idea for DPR to ask what cameras most people are interested in having reviewed.
I'm K5 IIs owner and very interested by the issue of this review; .. sorry if that bothers you .. :)
pretty tricky a take, .. IMHO it deserves a place in the first 3
Wildbegonia: multitasking?
:D
the same to you, .. and keep going, you do great job
senn_b: thanks for this pretty interesting challenge, Ruth, .., but IMHO you need to find out the meaning of "profile". :-))
best wishes

sorry for insisting, Ruth, .., I just try to understand, .. but I won't insist anymore. Good luck for your challenge. Hope to participate in your next, .. sincerely.
happy christmas to you .. :-))

unforgettable ..
that's a great one, .. deserved 1st place ..
I don't think it's alive ..
barb_s: Beautiful picture of a difficult fruit. Congrats on the win!
thanks ..
JoeRadza: Congratulations. VERY nice.
thanks ..
Wildbegonia: Congratulations, a great photo, it is evocative of the still life by the Dutch Masters.
thanks ..
Mike Ronesia: Excellent.
thanks Mike
RaptorUK: Isn't the Sun a little too high in the sky for this to be considered a Sunset or a Sunrise ?
excellent question but I hove no answer .. I wasn't equipped to measure this, .. :-))
britties: a very good photo! congatulations for winning!
however I would like to ask if the photo has been severely photoshopped, since i can recognize a weird grey outline around the lady in red, it is quite apparent on her left arm and around her shoes. What happened while shooting this (judging by the result) amazing photograph?
here is the original (then non cropped and rotated) version; .. do you still think that there is any transplant, or any other "major" pp ?..

pretty generous a rating; .. maybe it's deserved maybe not , .. but seeing where D700 is now as for its IQ (which is only aspect deserving my attention) , I say "wait and see" .. anyway thanks to dp staff for this meticulous and surprisingly rapid review :))
KonstantinosK: For the existing K5 users, the new duo doesn't look much of a temptation for an upgrade, unless of course money is no object. For those that are new to the DSLR and want the best in the APS-C class, they are serious candidates among its peers. The 7D after all these years received only a good firmware upgrade recently and the D7000 until now remains practically the same as ever.
"kewlguy" you've missed here the very occasion to say nothing :-))))
