very interesting article, especially for me. I've been photographing artworks professionally since early 90s (first assisting, then on my own) - and I have an expansive collection of 4x5 and 8x10...

I love this image, and I bet I am not the only one. I'll take it over yet another sunset lake or a soulful old man close-up any day. Rock on, Goami. Haters gonna hate and all that. You won fair...

Look, not to be rude, but the whole thing just went over your head, didn't it? Let's just leave it alone.I forgot that this forum is dedicated to fanboi wars and sharing bad pictures.

I am confused by the part where "the whole view resizes", in OVF mode. But regardless - I recall reading Sean Reid's review of Xpro1 where he talks about a workaround for adjusting OVF brightness,...

Hello,
I run into something unexpected today:
I am in my studio shooting a bunch of bicycles for a friend; using Xpro1 with 60mm prime, handheld, with EVF, area AF with center point. When I look...

1. yes. There are adapters for Nikon lenses, with varying degrees of quality and complexity (ie. aperture control on the adapter, etc.). Do a quick search on ebay, it brings up scores of different...

A small, inexpensive x-mount camera sold as a kit with say 27mm pancake might be a pretty attractive deal, actually!
But they should call it F series, or Z or whatever. Promoting it as a part of...

If you are thinking about studio photography syncing is generally not an issue, as a couple of decent strobes can put out so much more light than ambient.
I haven't tried XE1 but Xpro1 worked fine...

Heh, funny enough I could totally do without these two features you mention - especially the way they are done in this camera (I do like the hybrid aspect of the VF, though).
Oh, and I don't chimp...
