On DxOMark Mobile Report: Apple iPhone 6 post (67 comments in total)

Let's hope we'll be seeing DxO's report for the Panasonic smart phone, ..... Soon !!!

It's interesting though, that DxO labs publicize Apple's report first.
I'm sure that costed Apple an amount of ... something.

Petrogel: What is really amazing, is that we haven't seen any "in depth" review from Dpreview personnel of any of the Leica's latest products.
Either Leica is paying a Lot for it (not to review) or the "personnel" have nothing to compare this overpriced crap with.

Either-way this is an overpriced crap.

Raw Dude
OMD is a camera just like Leica Xvario, E-M5 was wearing the Panasonic Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm
F2.8-3.5 with OIS both cases Leicas were unable to catch up with competition.

I'll accept your argument in the first case 4/3 vs APSC, but OMD E-M5 was 4/3 and x vario APSC and believe me Olympus had better performance in both low light and daylight high iso.

One more thing, there was a Nikon1 J3 (199€)with my Nikkor 17-55 f2,8+adapter that was faster in daylight than the Leica

HowaboutRaw
Leica is an Overpriced brand aiming not to real photographers (specially with specs like these, on a camera like this), but to people trying to match the red dot with the nonexistent image of theirs. Leica sensors are ranked disappointingly low (for the amount of money paid) by the DxOmark (and not only).

When in 2008, we've compared Digilux 3 (Bought for 1700€) to a Canon EOS 400D (600€) we were very disappointed by the results Leica got.

Last March we did the test between Leica x Vario and the Olympus OMD E-M5, there was no reason for someone to spent that amount of money on a camera like Leica X vario, NO REASON AT ALL, try it yourself you'll be "amazed"...

Yes guys you are right, it's not a crap, how could it be a crap, when it's all made from Panasonic .
About that Corolla, Porsche example , what if the Porsche is MADE IN CHINA.

P.S Still !!! we haven't seen any in depth review of this over-priced ...... Pana

SergioMO: Finally !!! Someone opened the Pandora´s box, now will see Samsung/Sony etc. producing better camera phones. Bring it on !

The key feature of this phone, is the size of the sensor (as it is one of the two main parameter -sensor, lens- for taking quality photographs ) and the fully manual control of the phone-camera than any other feature, not to mention the high iso capability.

Sonyshine: Why on earth did Apple have to infuriate so many existing iPhone users by dumping unwanted U2 music onto them?

Following closely behind the recent iCloud nude celeb photo scandal this "abuse" of iCloud by Apple themselves is going to raise many questions in their customers minds as to how trustworthy iCloud really is!

It's certainly annoyed and worried me!

Why? because of Social Recognition, Human Vanity, Human anomaly in general .

Don't worry dude, there are going to be a lot of suckers to stand in line for hours to buy that thing, it is human anomaly and Apple is making "good" profit out of it .

John McCormack: Bigger iPhones? But, didn't Tim Cook two years ago tell us that the 4" iPhone was the "perfect size for one handed use?" Still, the camera looks a bit better, but the deals on the 5s will make it very attractive to first-time users.

That was then, now times hands got bigger .
