Petrogel: Imagine how many people will ask for their money back, when they'll find out that their new shiny Samsung S6, is equipped with a photo sensor different to the one DxoMark ranked on top place on the mobile image quality list.

I'm sure Apple people are already smiling .

Yeah!!! cause in any other case the "different" sensor might score higher, and the Samsung S6 will be the first Phone Camera to win itself in the next DxOMark sensor ranking.
LOL

Petrogel: Together with the remote control patent, the magnetic solution lens holder patent , the light field -like imaging system patent and who knows what's next patent, i believe Apple "will use this patent to sue anyone who'll design anything else about mobile devices.
And maybe one day Apple will patent photography itself

Correction,
During the 2000 "COMDEX" Microsoft introduced that tablet prototype .

I know, just like Apple copied iPad from Acorn Computers, an ARM-based touch screen tablet in 1997 or the Microsoft when used the term tablet in 2000 for a prototype "COMDEX" a Tablet PC or in 2001 when Ericsson Mobile Communications introduced a similar device.
Now who "patents" whom ?

Mister Roboto: One can only hope that it will work and not just another marketing BS. 7 camera modules, each with microscopic sensor.

Take a lowlight/High ISO shot and you will end up with 52MP painting. If one lens got broke (lucky if it is in the corner) then you will have a gorgeous picture with a hole. =D

Why can't we have more CM1-esque cameras? One camera module, one large sensor, happy user, no marketing BS.

Is iPhone 6 or Samsung S6 tiny and cheap ?

A 64bit chipset compared to the 32bit predecessor can not be called "a minor update" !!!!!

Petrogel: Unfortunately Apple is moving from bad to worst, i don't believe that iPhotos is the evolution of Aperture, Lightroom 5 has already replaced the five year old aperture 3 successfully.

Aperture was a really nice software, and had a lot of novelties, but after Tim Cook took over Apple started sliding down.
Personally i don't like uploading my whole life onto the cloud only to process my photos
