Nikon 85mm f1.4D IF lens along with box, caps, paperwork & lens hood. This is a MINT condition 10/10 lens that was purchased new from B&H in May of 2011. I have used it very little not for any...

Number is very nice, not too busy at all.

Had the opportunity to do some natural light boudoir work last weekend and wanted to share the results here for some C&C. All with the D4 and either the 85mm f1.4D or the 24-70mm f2.8. Thank you...

Don't know that he D4 made this shot possible but I love the IQ and its speed when needed. It's a wonderful all around tool.
-
Grabbed the D4 and headed to the GSMNP for a couple days over the holiday break. First time to visit, living only 2 hours away in Atlanta I have no excuse to not go back again and again. A...

Great set and you are right, very difficult to tell the difference. Seems like you favored the D4 though, understand totally as mine is tough to put down.

Thanks for posting these, number 1 is a bit dark, especially around the eyes. Try to move away from centering your subjects.

It's really dependent on what you are trying to accomplish. There are many sources, I've found most of the ones I like by searching for them on google etc.

Great question. I'm really blessed with a wonderful kit; D4, 70-200 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 14-24 2.8, 24 1.4g, 35 1.4g, 50 1.2 and a 85 1.4 d. Mostly use the trinity set of zooms but I get into prime...

Thanks for the reply on the process, again nice results. I changed to LR4 shortly after it came out and at first seemed just a bit awkward but soon it seemed better and now would not go back.
-
Excellent Work! Natural light really works well in all of them. How did you process them?

http://pure-light-studio.com/struggling to get it using LR4. Looks somewhat similar to RadLab or VSCO. How do you think it's done?

I would not trade my iMac 27 for any PC for this very reason. Stunning is an understatement. Sometimes I show some of my work to friends on their PC's and am always disappointed. Also love my...

If subject isolation is your goal then the 35 is better over the 24. I have both the 24 and 35 1.4s and honestly don't believe I've ever used the 24 for portrait, it's a wonderful landscape lens,...

Did some natural light shooting this weekend would love to hear your comments, always looking to improve. Both were taken with a Nikon 70-200 at F2.8. Thank you!
-
Thanks everyone for the comments, much appreciated! The 40mm was taken with a 24-70 2.8 and the 160mm was with a 70-200 2.8. I had someone else set up the lighting and never much pid attention to...

Really sorry to see this. Many credit cards come with a 6 month or longer insurance policy to cover all losses for goods bought with the card. I once lost a $6000 RC airplane within the grace...

This was my second shoot in a studio and getting a bit more comfortable with the models. Would really appreciate your comments, really looking to improve and open to any suggestions.

Why did you also place a similar B&H "dig" on the Canon forum? Going after a very reputable seller in a very big way! As its been suggested slow down and chill out a bit. B&H processes thousands...

Nice job on the PNW shots, especially number 2 and the peppers. How were they processed?
