Panasonic has usually made pretty good EVFs actually (with a few notable misses). My suspicion is that they might be using the Epson...

Ok, first; what are you primarily shooting? Landscapes, portraits, architecture, macro? Indoors, or out? Low light or good light? When you look at photos you have taken in the past, what focal...

The EP5 is not a fixed focal length camera.....you can put any of the M43 lenses on it, although I assume you are planning to only use the 17mm f1.8 in the kit package.
If you are really looking...

Not even remotely.... that is pretty weird. I would send it to the Admins via feedback and ask them what happened?
In any case, what post would you like me to remove?

You have 20 minutes, I think, to delete your own posts. After that, all you have to do is PM one of the mods and we will remove it for you.

I'm wondering if it is going to use the same sensor as the EM6, since that is rumored to be going to have a new sensor also...and I wonder if it will be that Sony sensor there was a patent for with...

You have two bodies you like, and a camera that you don't want? Sell the GH2 and get lenses.

It's a really, really wonderful lens!
And I see you have the required orange cat to test it on when you first get it.....

Question: Have you ever used one of the Olympus cameras or are you just looking at test site shots?
Here's the thing: I've used the EPL1, G2, GF3, GH2, G5, GX1, EPL5 and now have the EPM2. I...

I found the "chunkier" aspect of the EPL5 a lot LESS comfortable than the slimmer, more spartan EPM2, and ended up with the EPM2 as a result...you really have to try both to see what works for you.
-
You do realize the EPM2 has a dedicated FN button also....and there is enough button programmability to set it up just about any way you want. (I have the FN button set to AE lock, and the down...

The LCD on the EPM2 is definitely visible in sunlight, but more than that, Oly makes three EVFs that work on it, ranging from about $100 (on sale) to $279. The newest one, the VF-4, is supposed to...

No, the only thing that won't work properly is the eye sensor, but there will be no image degradation on the E-PL5, E-PM2, E-M5, E-PL3, E-PM1, E-P3
Older models will have some image degradation. ...

Have it, use it, really, really enjoy it; it's cheap and it's good. Go for it!

I was briefly tempted, but then got the EPM2 and ordered the VF-4 for it instead. When the EM6 comes out, that would make more sense for me as my main camera, so saving my funds for that...

It's pretty good, and they do give you the clip on so it is not entirely without flash.
Depends on the lens; those that have a switch on the lens barrel work fine; those that have no body switch...

I have the older, heavier 14-140mm, and I use it quite a lot, actually. I have both the Oly 40-150mm and the Panasonic 45-150mm, and I just never use them...if you want convenience with very good...

Absolutely! I'm even getting pretty fast at it, too :)
If it's really nasty out (dusty, heavy pollen, etc,) I will try and change the lens inside a car or building, or even a plastic bag, but...

It does fine in good light, but up the ISOs or use it in high DR situations and the sensor is just not that great.
Depends on the situation. Low ISO, good light, no, high ISO poor light, yes.
I...
