Thx for nice comments!
RuthC: Yet another excellent capture, summicron, of an alert bear sniffing the air, this one a very big, hairy brown grizzly. Beautiful. Ruth :-)
thejohnnerparty: Beautiful girl. Nicely done.
the image shown is 50% crop from original and I was perhaps 10 ft away, with the wrought iron gate in background another 10 ft behind model. 200mm lens will certainly blur backgrounds even at f/11. don't worry about asking questions and im an old guy and always learning, too!
Thanks! For this challenge I went into the kitchen and did a studio still life, only to realize later the challenge called for people! Luckily I had an archived shot with the model that seemed to work!
ysal: Nice shot.
Thanks! These guys can smell food from a mile away!
Thanks for nice words!

Reilly Diefenbach: That's a humdinger!
thanks! and there were some excellent other entries!
MarioSS: Very nice!
tecnoworld: Very nice! How did you achieve such a sharp picture at 1/60 of shutter?
hi, thanks for your note and comment! you are right, the kids are moving fast! off camera fill flash helped, but luck was with me.
Solar Ben: Really cool picture. The one time I pulled my camera out at a casino, security was all over me to put it away.
exactly. this one was a quick grab shot. the casino on this ship was positioned in a high traffic route to the theaters.
i was thinking rock, paper, scissors!
how about old shaving straight razors?
great!! love the expressions on snake and egret!
