Between the overcast conditions at 2:30AM, shadows of the cave, and intensely blue ice there wasn't much warm light to choose from ;).
However, I did have to compromise a bit between the "open" light falling on the ice on the black rock and the shadows of the cave. I didn't want it too blue by favoring the shadows, nor lose the intensity of the scene by picking a white balance off the snow in the open, so I picked a temperature in the middle more or less.
