I have read a bit on the forum about eye-fi, and maybe it is easier to ask the question directly: are there any gotchas I should consider, particularly with the T3i/600D?
My envisioned use case is...

Some non-Canon 1.4x converters come with nicer cases. Sigma, as an example. Just tried it...it's a tight-ish fit for the 40mm, but not too bad. With a slimmer end cap, such as the Sigma end cap, or...

From my trip last year: If spending time at one of the hotsprings is on your agenda, think about taking a "rugged" P&S. A lot of people were taking photos at the Blue Lagoon, and I winced a bit...

Just a thought:For the money you would have to add to make up the difference between the Sigma 30 and the Canon 17-55, you could instead use that same money and buy a dedicated wide-angle lens such...

Following another recent discussion here, I took a look at some of the photos I had taken with the 17-85IS. I don't really use the lens anymore...having somewhat gravitated to other lenses. But...

My interest:DSLR shooter who wants a smaller second camera for situations where taking the DSLR kit is not practical, but doesn't want to give up the large sensor. EOS M would not become my main...

Why I'll have a look...for business travel, where I want to take a camera just in case. Call it a prejudice or "DSLR snobbery", but I just haven't had an interest in a P&S. I like to avoid flash...

I picked up the 40mm lens to make it easier to slip my DSLR into luggage on business trips, etc. It is a very nice size...I think in winter this could fit into a large coat pocket.But...my camera...

I noticed a couple of dragonflies in my yard last night. I plan to grab a camera and see if they show up again this weekend.Of the lenses that I have, what do you recommend to start with for...
