The DXO mark numbers show DR going down as ISO increases. For example the K5 goes from 14.12 EV to 10.36 EV at ISO 80 and 1600, respectively. cheers Duncan

Your photos demonstrate the great potential of the K-5 for astrophotography, however the K-5 has extremely low noise and uses 14bit RAW files, so there is absolutely nothing to be gained by ISO...

You don't need to use high ISO with 14bit cameras! You will get better results by using the same exposure times but with ISO 80.
