NZ Scott: This is nicely composed and shot, but to be honest I think it looks oversaturated and oversharpened - a bit like an HDR shot. Of course, this is a matter of taste, but I think I'd like the photo more if the processing was dialed back a bit.

Thanks Scott for the critique. I really appreciate it. cheers.

In reply to:

NZ Scott: What do you mean by "travel photography"?

Your instructions say "everything captured in Southeast Asia is accepted", and I'm not sure how this is different to "normal photography".

I guessed you hit the point when you said this Mr. Host. and one more this is a challenge, people will do their best especially people is South East Asia.
" I guess people from South East Asia could still send in photos of what their country is famous for, or what they are proud of their country. "

Sir, the title says Over saturated (red) to perfection! my question is do you want that the subject is red and over saturated it or do what whatever i want on the photo shop just like coloring it (don't know the right term sorry) with red to make it like over saturated even though the subject is not red? Yochi23: Is a bud considered a flower?

In botany, a bud is an undeveloped or embryonic shoot and normally occurs in the axil of a leaf or at the tip of the stem. Once formed, a bud may remain for some time in a dormant condition, or it may form a shoot immediately. Buds may be specialized to develop flowers or short shoots, or may have the potential for general shoot development. The term bud is also used in zoology, where it refers to an outgrowth from the body which can develop into a new individual.

Where did you get this 4 five star votes? maybe the 3 votes are from charlie, edson and ryan. and the other one is from your other account cheater. This photo doesn't deserve to be 195 place.

Hey manipulator. My name is Charlie i was in the 5th place and the 4th place is my friend Edson. We are living in the same community. Now prove it that we are the same person. if not then shut up! http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=10150352278311132&set=t.100000435151295&type=3&theater. This is the link that will prove to you that myself , edson, and ryan are not the same person that you're thinking. edson is wearing red shirt, i'm in the middle, and ryan is on the left. And shame on you Paulo for accusing us. Have a nice day.
