Danamr: Seriously.Adobe is not a non-profit.Adobe is not a charity.Adobe does not owe you anything. They are in business to make money. Software piracy costs them millions of dollars a year. This goes a long way to eliminating that.Their pricing model is more than fair for what you get. This is the future. Get used to it.
Regarding piracy: I doubt if there will be much revenue 'recovery' from the vast number of pirates 'denied'. I live in Thailand most copies of PS are pirated it is greatly lauded program but 'ordinary' people couldn't afford it.
I purchased all of my PS versions since CS2. I'm retired now and paying Adobe an 'annuity' grates. Will they 'credit' me for unused months? A company with their power could accommodate a tri-annual 'wrap-up' version of their tremendous program. I have no interest in products other than PS and LR
Mssimo: Classic Question Dodge:
How do you justify the price increase to photographers?
Last year we actually cut the price of Lightroom in half in order to open it up to a broader market of photographers.
French revolution: Marie Antionette said "Let them eat cake!". And she lost her head.
Has anyone viewed what Adobe's profit's were for the last two years.
