MadsR: @quaoarus Ya, because the 14-35 f2.0 and 35-100 f2.0 lenses are really bad quality and slow... So is the 12-60 f2.8 to 4.0 and the cheaper 14-54 f2.8 to 3.5...
Anyway, this have been long rumoured, and I really hope Panasonic can pull it off soon, because we really need some fast zoom lenses to go with the system. And hopefully they won't be as expensive as the NiCannon counterparts...
you must be blind to say those HG and SHG lenses are BAD and SLOW.
i bet ur the kind of guy who dreams bout lenses but could never actually afford one. thus ranting about them all day
ogl: 17/0.95 provides the equivalent DOF really as 35/1.9 (for US$1,500 for manual focus instead of US$200 for AF). Sending its image to a poorer sensor. Absurd.
hello ogl, thankyou for showing your absolutely little knowledge of micro fourthirds, that just makes you look like an idiot to all of us here.
mFT user have their own opinion of why they dont use FF. Size is the most common reason. go play with your FF camera there if you are happy with the weight. cheers and STFU
bradleyg5: Yawn, wake me up with they hit F/0.8. f0.95 is not terribly impressive when you only have to produce an image circle 1/4th the size of fullframe. sure the intensity of light is high, but the total amount of light passed through the lens is not worthy of that price tag.
haha you make me laugh with your stupidity.
shut up if you dont know much about the technical aspect behind the construction moron.
is that a bull terrier:D?
Thank God I live in Australia :D
amazing :D
WOOOOW
wow this is really good!
but i wonder why some other good photographs are not rated well enough. And some really bad photo's are even rated better than the good ones. hmm
but this one is one heck of a photo!
:D
tkbslc: I think they made it 45mm instead of 50mm, so we wouldn't realize how expensive this is for a 50mm f1.8. Nikon's new FF 50mm f1.8 is $200. Olympus half frame version is $400? Makes perfect sense if you don't think about it.
I always hated when people that uses 35mm, or bigger sensor come to bitch about m4/3 or 4/3rds product. Saying this and that, the IQ and the noise, the tonal range, gradation, clarity, depth of field, price, etc. Do you have one? Have u use it frequently until you know exactly what you are talking about?
Its like when you use FF camera, and someone came from a medium format sector or large format sector, saying that FF sucks, price too high, IQ not good enough, gradation not clear, blablabla.
why dont u just shut up and let us m4/3rds fans be happy with our choice of format?
You shoot FF. good for u.
we shoot m4/rds, good for us.
so shut up and stop posting negative things about m4/3rds.
