I was just wondering how many people were considering the S110 and of that how many of those are Canon customers who have had models that suffered from the lens error (s100).It still seems like the...
Amazing pics! I want to go there.
Am I the only one who likes the 1 series? For people who want better quality from the average point and shoot with some manual control there is this.S100 - lens error, won't touch Canon point and...
Doesn't the J1 have PASM modes too?
Looks niceDoes anyone know if the EX1 came with a lens cap? Will the EX2F?
Has Samsung banned everyone from releasing sample pics or what?
The Samsung store in Tottenham Ct road London doens't even have an NX200 demo unit. They still have an NX100 and when I asked them about EX2F release date they seemed oblivious to that model name....
They must be poor quality so maybe they thought the announcement will buy them some time to sort themselves out.
I'm tempted to get an XZ-1 but with reading everything about selling shares to Sony are we going to see them completely fold in the next year or so? I don't really want to buy a camera to then find...
I could live with $600... but I hope they offer a choice of either the zoom or the 25mm.
I don't know about their DSLR's but some of there cameras like the S100 and G1X are priced quite high. Do you think this will be too compared to say Panasonic G series or Sony NEX?
Don't know why anyone would pre order something for which there has been not a single sample image released.
Your time will come. eieiei
In answer to an earlier question I did read of 1 guy on here who's S100 developed the lens error, and it's serial number was outside the known range.
Fair point but I don't see as many issues with other brands. I'm not saying manufacturing malfunctions don't exist for other brands, sure they do, but none as bad as Canon in this instance.
Problem is there is not really any other choice in terms of giving the quality and pocketability.LX5 - too big... XZ-1 - too big... Only real choice out there is Nikon p310 but even then it's a...
People have noted that the lens error (or at least a lens error) was present not just on the S100 but also it's predecessor the S95 and even the S90. My question to you all is do you think Canon...
I tried to google the dust in lens issue for this but couldn't find anything. Is it a commonly known issue?
Nice. Only a matter of time before online stores start dropping prices too.
Is the sensor in this the same as in the WX100/WX150? In theory should the image quality be the same?
