These are very nice photos, you have a right to be proud of them. Shooting butterflies can be tough, sometimes they just won't stay still. I just got an SX50 1 week and am having more fun with it...

For a camera that was panned by so many when it was announced, I must say I'm impressed. I'd be interested in seeing the processed photos.

Took me a bit to puzzle it out, but once I made out the leaf, the fact that it is ice fell into place for me. Then I read your explanation. Wonderful photograph!
