to continue my comment about RAW K-5 burst rate. From Pentax USA...Version 1.01
Improved the number of consecutive RAW and high ISO shots able to be captured in high speed mode before buffer slowdown (e.g. previously buffer slowdown would occur after approx 8 frames, now it's approx 20 frames).General performance and stability improvements.http://www.pentaximaging.com/support/download-details/443
I believe the statement about burst is inaccurate for RAW, the K-5 was boosted to 20 frames after firmware upgrade1.01?
And from DPreview in depth-review Continuous Hi: 7 fps, up to 40 Best JPEG frames, 15 images RAW* http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/pentaxk5/2
Quote from this article."To make use of this AF capability, the K-30 can shoot at up to 6 frames per second (just shy of the the K-5's 7fps). This slower frame rate also allows the K-30 to offer slightly longer bursts of shots than the K-5; capturing up to of 30 JPEGs or 8 Raw files (which slightly edges the K-5's 26 JPEG/8 Raws)."
Come on....really, no reduction in price? De-content and retain current price...way to get people to try 3rd party products!
