I do have pin point focus on my GH1 and use it. Unfortunately the GH1 will still hunt sometimes. Could this because of contrast focus detection

Have a GH1 with 14x140 glass. Shoot bird pics in my yard area and when birds are in dense foliage I often have to revert to manual focus. Will the PL5 more consistently lock on and more rapidly...

Thanks for the comments. The X20 is the camera I initially wanted because of the viewfinder and the fast lens. Now, I just need to avoid the sirens call for the improved sensor in the EPL 5.
