Is it worth buying one from a reputable, though grey market, dealer?

I bought the cheap Canon 55-250 (really sharp!) for my EOS M as a lightweight, cheap, long lens solution. I was also considering an inexpensive 500mm lens from Ebay to f**k around with compressed...

The lack of reach makes this lens impressive on paper but lacking in real world use. I use my 24-70L II along with every mid-range zoom I've owned in the past at 70mm focal length more than 50% of...

Very nice!
What did you use for B&W conversion?

Canon arguably makes three best FF zooms in the world. I have two of the three, unfortunately the third one costs nearly three times the two I have, combined.

I have the EF/S to EOS M adaptor. Just checked the-digital-picture.com for a comparison between the two lenses. The Canon looks a bit sharper.
Thanks!

I'm looking for an inexpensive and lightweight telephoto zoom solution for my EOS M. I'm hoping the upcoming AF firmware will make the AF much more usable than current setting.
Can anyone tell me...

Give the EOM M/22mm F/2 pancake combo at $400 a try. Now with the expected AF speed enhancement the little M is a viable option.
I find the little 22mm sharper than my 35L.
The Sl1 is nice, but...

Amazing lens for amazing price. I have the EOS M with both lenses. The 22mm F/2 smokes the Fuji 23mm on the X100 and easily beats the Zeiss 24 1.8 for the NEX. Also the difference between the...

How's the AF speed and accuracy of the Tamron Macro with the adaptor?
I just ordered the adaptor and plan on using it with the Canon 50 2.5 Mac.

I have the EF-M for the EOS M and it is shockingly good. Hard to believe a kit lens with this level of performance. Canon has really upped there optics to a new level the last 5-6 years.
Hell my...

I bet she's a regular on Dpreview hence the "No Pro Photographer" comment.

I got one too at the current ebay price of $399. The 22mm is amazing! It's sharper than the 23mm on the Fuji X100 and even my 35L on a 5D3.

Three years ago I paid $900 for a used Canon 85 1.2L MK I. How things have gone down hill.

It will be half price in a few months.

I'm planning on shooting with two cards in my 5D3. The CF will be shot in RAW, the SD card as a back up in large JPG. Can someone tell me how many images do I get from a 32 GB card shot in large...

I've been an available light shooter most of my adult life. This year, I promised myself to be learn shooting artificial light and dusting off my rarely used Profoto 600R with beauty dish and...

I got mine last week for $399 and love the camera for my type of use. After playing playing around with my eos m my friend wants one too. Any $399 or better deals left out there?
