I had thought about it, but really there aren't enough features for me to upgrade to it ("upgrade" is always a weird term when getting a new camera body- it's not like the old one isn't capable of...

It'll sell... to people who know the difference, or know what PDAF even is.  I think Canon sells more cameras simply because it has the name "Canon."

Sony does in lens stabilization for it's mirrorless, not in body. Maybe in the future, but not this one.

I would totally buy one too... however they'll sell less of those than that did the Nikon 1, and the profit per camera can't possibly very good if it's not on the high end of the price scale.
