I had even worse problem with Sony 18-200 LE version. Zoom ring was tight and usual zooming was causing noticeable play in the mount and in result I was getting "camera cannot recognize lens" error...

Strange... my Sigma has stabilization :)

Yes, and this will demonstrate increase of per-pixel sharpness in this area and reduction of per-pixel noise.
Cool, you found workaround!!! Instead of waiting for this magical adapter we can just...

May be, but let's wait for more nay-sayers first :) Also I don't think people who is professionally involved in such researches will discuss anything about it on public.

I will the first to pre-order :)

I think this should be solvable but it may require additional elements on the path on light which may affect quality.
This would be also awesome. But getting rid of mirror will take few years, and...

Unfortunately GH2 is missing 60/50p. (I need it for high quality super-slow-motion). My last hope is Panasonic G6.
Yes - normal video camera is also valid option for video :) but we are not looking...

I forgot to mention that I used this resolution chart of course incorrectly, so those numbers doesn't tell anything particular. But it is good enough for resolution compare.

Resolution test, make sure you open original files (not the mini-image in forum)
Video crop looks little better now but still there is huge difference is quality.
