I enjoy reading critique and find it very helpful so please don't discourage people. Perhaps the tone of Steve's reply is a little aggressive (as is yours by the way), but I found his comments...
-
And the OP's 500 odd previous posts spanning several years were written solely to facilitate such a scam? Sigh...

Oh the irony!Personally I'd take constructive critisism over 'very nice' all day long.

Fortunately everyone's different. For example, some people would be amazed at the idea of drinking a glass of wine whilst reading an argument on an internet forum.
-
Ok I concede I do know what you're getting at and I kind of agree. But when someone posts a comment such as "I noticed the 60D has better dynamic range than the OMD" I immediately interpret it as...

It's an opinion of course, I'm not some kind of overarching oracle or font of all knowledge! Not worthless, but common sense has to be applied interpreting anything posted on internet forums...

There's is no such thing as a statement of fact on an internet forum! Besides it would get quite tedious if folk had to qualify every sentence with "IMO ...", "I think ...", etc. (IMHO).

-
Your defense of the OMD is a tad OTT! Maybe the OP just prefers a different camera to you?

Try recomposing your shots so that you are not shooting directly into the sun. As well as reducing the likelihood of lens flare this brings many additional benefits such as improved colour, skies...

There's that hype again :-) To me the E-M5 is just another incremental improvement in the evolution of MFT. There will probably be another one in a few months.

I would think a used GH2 should come in a bit cheaper than the others, especially at mate's rates:-)I purchased my GH2 + 14-42mm for $500 in a recent Amazon sale and am very happy with it, both in...

Great shots, I particularly like the composition of the grater and the lobster pot.

Well I for one read Pikme's comment as a lighthearted jest (the exclamation mark is a clue). People sure are sensitive round here!

Thanks Aleo. Not HDR although I did boost the shadows a touch. I think the colour saturation is mainly due to the low sun behind the camera. In fact it was difficult getting my shadow out of frame!

My first shot of the New Year taken whilst ambling along a beach at Point Reyes admiring the surf.
