Was driving through the celtic manor and came across some nice old cars. Taken with my d7100 and new samyang 8mm fisheye. Converted with silver efex.

The allround best option is to set the camera to b+w mode and shoot raw + jpeg.  That way you get a b+w preview when you are out and about, and can use the colour raw to do your b+w convcersion...

don't think so, ive already got a nice little scratch down the screen. in comparison my mobile phone which is much more heavily used and abused is unmarked.

Spot on! It was getting quite dark when that picture was taken, over 30 minutes after sunset. The reason for the small aperture and long exposure was not for the waves, but for the cloud movement....

One advancement is the ability to quickly turn on / off auto iso. Something i did a lot and hated going through the menus to use this function.

For hand held, non action photography it is great. A 5 stop vr system (if marketing is to be believed...) means you can choose 5 stops better ISO. ISO 200 instead of 6400 is not to be sniffed at!...

Hi Mikhail, in my experience the d7100 af is better than the d300s, especially in low light The buffer is clearly worse though.
