Goami: you know, it's getting boring to read the same comments... "you are cheater, cause you are cheater, and you are cheating"... nobody cares that no rules were broken, nobody cares that no fake accounts were created, nobody cares my previous messages... you always have 10 words for my one ("cheater, cheater, cheater etc...)
people, i'm totally agree, that creating fake accounts is cheating, and i'm totally agree that voting 1 stars for all others is disgusting... but no fake accounts were created by me, and i'm sure that my friends didn't do that way...
i don't even know, why if dpreview allows you to invite new people to the voting why don't you do that way? more than that, i thought that it is target of creating this challenge... i think we just do the same things, guys, by different ways, and you call my way "cheating"...
by the way, administration still didn't contact with me about the lense, and i will be realy happy, if they will not :)

again and again i read the same message but wroten by another words... could you write something realy different?
i have two tamrons 17-50 (although one of them works bad=), and winning the lense wasn't the only target, so if dpreview won't present it to me, i'll not be disapointed, realy =) especialy now, when i'm feeling sick because of all this unobjective and embittered post.. =)
somebody wants me to withdraw my photo... guys, do you realy want to see picture #2 on the first place?

Goami: Guys, let's wait for an official results... If dpreview will decide to withdraw my photo, then no problems, i will not be dissatisfied... (although i'll be susprised, how the rules can be easily changed)... I think it will be better to stop unobjective flooding until that...

i think if i'll do that way, you'll write the same message under the picture number 2

oh, and of course i should ask dpreview to present lense to iMac, therefore iAm...
don't forget, that the main judge is dpreview team, and not me or you... so let's wait for final word of organizers of this challenge, i'm sure that it will be fair...
and what is MORE important - if i withdraw, the lense will be presented to #2, not #5 (or you)

Goami: You know, after all spiteful comments i'm not realy glad to see my picture on first place... Of couse it would be destiny of any photo on 1st place... Always will be people dissatisfied by any situation... I just never thougth, that attraction of my friends to the voting could be recognized as cheating... Why? Cause it is opened internet voting, and you can promote your pictures where you want, you can even create web-site with advertising of your work, you can promote it in social networks and other web-resourses... It is not forbidden... Every could make that way, i don't see any cheating here... Do you really think that i persecuted my friends with this photo and forced them to vote 5 stars? According to some opinions in comments some people think that way =) But i didn't... I asked to make vote for my photo, if it good enough. I didn't asked "You should vote ONLY for my work, and ONLY 5 stars..." I really really don't understand many of guys, posted here...

vote-rigging, it's when you create fake accounts and then vote by them. if real people vote for photos it's called "real people vote for photos"

I didn't promote myself by this challenge... I promoted my photo by available resources (*read "social networks")... I didn't know that now people call it "cheating"

Lack of ethic??? Man, you should read most of comments here =) There is realy lack of ethic... Some people post the same embittered, unobjective comment to few photos... It looks like kindergarten...

Oh, so you think that dpreview made this contest, cause they wanted to present lense to somebody? Or because tamron has one extra lense and they don't know what to do with it? Man, challenges like this made for promotion of brand, or for increasing attendance of resource... Why don't you say that tamron are cheaters, or dpreview are cheaters, cause they promote themselves?

jaykumarr: :-) I just spoke to Tamron Marketing Director Mr.ToyVote about this.

He told me that, due to the bitter reactions from dpreview users they are going to scrap this contest and he is going to keep the lens himself, and Gaomi is not going to get this prize. He further told me that those 51 fresh members who voted 5 STAR for this will be give each 16$ each (price of prize/51).

He added that he is hiring Gaomi as CSO(Chief Strategy Officer) in Tamron marketing with salary of 170,000,000 Yen, plus perks including annual trips to Poland with joining bonus of array of Tamron lenses.

Bloomberg just reported that Tamrons share prizes are up by 3.81% this morning after this strategic move by Mr. Toy Vote.

oh, great joke, dude!! i think you should become great stand-up comic
