Yes it's a great camera.....and I like the pic.I like the composition but it still seems rather noisy. Since it was mounted on a tripod I would've suggested a lower ISO while using a wider aperture...

I don't see a problem with the BR attached to the camera tripod mount since your lens foot will sit atop the tripod.
But I'd get rid of the BR and get one by Op/Tech anyway..........
