I have had a D800 since the day it was released. What I like most about this camera is you are able to quickly focus on your subject despite shooting in an extremely dark room. In other words, if you can see what you're trying to shoot, it will lock focus. I do a lot of low-light, no flash, shooting so this is a godsend. I often do this WITHOUT the aid of using the infrared focus beams on the SB-910. My sole complaint, I wish Nikon would redesign the layout of what it puts on screen during video recording. Too many objects are within the video window and this prevents a 100 % clear view. This is distracting and quite franking it looks as if it was thrown together as an afterthought. It's frankly a chaotic mess. This layout has no professional look or feel to it whatsoever. Please Nikon, at the very least, put the sound level indicator outside the video frame! Yes, the file sizes are large and add up fast, but move to burning your files on blu-ray and you're be fine.
