Mirrorless also has the advantage of much smaller lenses in addition to smaller bodies. You're still going to have to stick a huge DSLR sized lens on that body.

Sorry, but I respectfully beg to differ.  I own both the K-5 and OM-D, and use primes on both (50mm on K-5 and 17mm on OM-D).  The OM-D WITH lens attached is smaller and thinner than the K-5 body...

I actually use my OM-D as a smaller compliment to my K-5. I can pack the OM-D and 5 lenses into my smallest camera bag with lots of room to spare, or even without a bag at all if I keep one lens on...
