What I am far more interested in - 1/8000.

Ah yes...need to remind myself that PP is part and parcel of photography nowadays...I still haven't shelled out for LR LOL. Have aperture and have no clue how to remove it...@.@
Cheers

I appreciate that; I do have a 12-35mm f2.8 that loves to show it's ca on my omd...bah.

The problem you are seeing relates to the TTL setting.
By default OLY flashes use the TTL setting. You will notice a very slight delay when you use this setting when taking pictures.
Under this...

Anders,
to be fair, this IS a limitation to the current mft - at least to my understanding. I have yet to purchase a quality ND filter to test whether the bright conditions can be successfully...

Lol - totally agree with your last sentence.
They should really fix the CA in software across the system.

Anders, I remember you kindly educated me (and other readers) on the same issue with my 75mm f1.8; I believe its LoCA. I'll try and post later - photos not with me, and time is limited right...

Well, As long as the OP (me) gets the limitations and doesn't lament that the camera is crap blah blah blah, everything is good.
I too discussed this earlier, and only got the cold shoulder /...

Went to Hong Kong Disneyland yesterday.Facing the sun around 2:45pm insisted on using larger aperture (against gut feeling)to try and get some background blurring, so used anywhere between f2.0 -...

Err,
the EVF autoswitch checks if there is anything in front of it. It may be that some droplet was large enough to decide your face was close to it so...

They basically handed the design of the bezel; giving it a triangular edge and different screws. Fast job in Hk

My two cents; I tried the gx1, the g1, and for the heck of it I you lent find my way to the settings as easily as I could with my olys. These include the e-30, e5 from the 43 era, and the ep1,...

Even with the rec view setting on; you could just press the shutter button again and the viewfinder will be working in view mode again.

Using wi5) em-5. Set to smallest jpeg plus raw. Sending only jpeg to iPad. Breezingly fast. You do have to coax the connection at each sessions, restart.

I fail to understand the apathy towards the surface. Pull the brand moniker and would there be any difference?its an ultra book masquerading as a tablet. It gives you a drawing pad aka WACOM to use...

I wrote a few paragraphs, then removed them.Yes I am spreading misinformation. I am sayin the lens is SOFT. At all times. Not just BROAD DAYLIGHT.What happened to reading.

I'd rather notargue on someone elses thread. Suffice to say that I disagree with the notion that the ND filter is all to blame.I am very fond of my 75mm but simply state an element that has to be...

I could never understand why people complained about the oly system. It has a very straight forward and logics setting that is probably the best way of showing the vast number of customizations...

Steve,Please don't misunderstand. I too am considering the 35-100. I do have the 75mm and the 4/3 50-200mm sad.I am just relating my experience that, you'll love the 75mm indoors for giving that...

LolI am writing this directly from experience. I have the 25 45 and 75. And as mentioned in my post, I had naïvely thought using the lens wide open was always going to work wonders. It turned out...
