In the specs: Image -- Image stabilization is set to No, yet the press release says it has optical image stabilization, fix the specs.
Oh and also, 2 other criterias that are less important but still prefered:
-high enough resolution LCD to check for blurs-silent shutter (hurray for electronic shutters!)
This camera is soooo close to what I am actually looking for:
1- compact (camera has to fit in my pants pockets)2- good AND FAST lenses (nice quality lens(es) available)3- use of an external flash possible (without having to shine internal flash directly on subject)4- good sensor (best in class noise)5- internal flash (for those few situations where you absolutely need it)in that order.
So my choices are:Olympus XZ-1 nice but loses a bit on not-so-good image stabilizationFujifilm X10 will have to check thickness, otherwise, may be the best optionNikon V1 where are the f1.4 lenses, gimme some fast 35mm or 28mm at least! even f2.0 would at least be acceptable flash may be adequate to bounce to sync with external flash, no internal flash but detachable camera-powered flash may be fine
Anyway, all I need is for the Nikon 1 system to have a 35mm or 28mm faster than f2.0 and I'd be set!
