d50 was also a nice dslr btw, no focus motor but better IQ than d70 imo
The D50 did have a focus motor. The later D40 was Nikon's first AF-crippled DSLR.
Where would you recommend buyin Nikon NC? Are there any good discount/legit online sites I can order from? I live in Canada where they are asking way too much $$$.......

Do you know your "DUH!!!!" is a reply to a 5 1/2 year old post, and to a forum member that hasn't posted anything in the last few years?

Good idea not waiting for the "D400". I think...
The 80-200mm 2.8 no longer comes with a hood either. Apparently it used to.
That's amazing for a $1000+ lens. The hood is $45!! Every lens I've ever bought, Nikon, Sigma, Tamron, or...

Any price significantly lower than B&H, Adorama, or Amazon is probably not legitimate. Check B&H, keh.com, and Adorama for a factory refurbished D7100.
That depends somewhat on where...

The street price in Canada has been under $1,000 for months now.
I got mine in June for $999 retail.
Even better than that at The Source aka Radio Shack (believe it or not....) That has me looking at the D7000 as well.
With the D7000 at $700 at The Source, the D3x00...
Thanks for posting that. f/8 will definitely help the sharpness of the lens. Still, it is good to know that the 18-200 can produce such a good shot.
Check some of happypoppeye's...

It's a fine lens. I don't trust many review sites but I've...
Also, I have become used to the af-on method of working & don't believe the K3 has this.
The K-3 appears to have a dedicated "AF" button, with several programmable options.
According to the manual, when set this way, "the built-in flash does not fire, although remote units do." But both the remote and pop-up are firing when I take a picture.
It will work just fine. Nothing to worry about. Your D7100 manual even includes a lens compatibility section where you can confirm. Good luck and enjoy
I also have...
You might have got away with that had you not then decided to slag off people 'claiming to be in the know'. You clearly considered yourself to be 'in the know' on that...
Why are people so interested in manual focus?
Many people already own one or more manual focus lenses, so a camera that can enhance the usability of those lenses could be...
