PixelMover: My god, you can't even say "I like a Big Mac" these days without some Sony shill or 'fan' popping up and saying: "A7 is better"... Is Sony SO worried that the camera will flop? Are the Sony fans SO worried that they might be buying into a system that will be discontinued in 2 years after only 2 lenses have been released? You're more annoying and desperate than those friendly people who come knocking at your door on Sunday morning to spread the good news...
Do you really need to bring up the A7 in every unrelated other product just so you can sleep at night? Maybe you think you're showing support, but the ridiculous amount of unrelated comments about the A7 makes it look more like sheer blind insecure panic.
Why not simply take some pride in the fact that there is nothing to directly compare it to, as it is the only FF mirrorles DSC. Have some dignity, Sony... please have some dignity.

Big Mac sucks Whopper is better ;) Nikon fanboys crying is just funny.

fooddudeone: I am very happy that they didn't include the Ricoh GR (imo, the very Best "pocket camera" of all time...well, at least, to date). Excluding it from this list means that less people will have it and don't know what "that mysterious/neat/sleek/understated camera" is when they see it on the streets :) ...the GR will be more obscure in the best possible way and only a camera for people in the know.

Funny Ricoh who?, they are not even available in Canada and not even known in many parts of the world, about as well know as the Sigma DPMs. not to mention not exactly a pocket camera.

wombat661: "as they get older, get married and have babies I expect they will probably want to buy a better camera."

If you want to cater to the new parents crowd, then that better camera would not be a mirrorless. Babies moves very fast you need all the help you can get to get those candid shots. SLR with good focus tracking is very helpful here.
New parents thinks their babies will sit still for them to adjust the camera. The optimal window to get the right shot with the right expression is about half a second.
Told my in law to get a camera with fast focus. They looked at me like I was nuts. They though babies are so small they do not ever move. A month latter, they told me how frustrated they were with slow focus. Went out and got a SLR.

GuyStewart iPhone taking Sony's lunch do you know who makes the sensor for the iPhone 5S wait for it, wait for it SONY

Every six months they change their mount, do you relize how stupid you sound? at least they are doing something, if it was not for them you would still pay more for less from your nice friends at Nikon and Canon, I say let them push the market it only benefit us all.
What is Nikon doing? going back to the past with a shiny turd that makes Nikon sheep forget how bad the D600 was, yes that is how you do it, smoke and mirrors...LOL
This Sony has no lenses is getting old, you can put any lens on E mount even those so called excellent Nikon and Canon junk

It does not look all that old, Sony made this camera back in 2009 the A900

Elikan: Before reading the article I looked at the pictures and in my taste the samsung pictures were the most pleasing . What I liked most in the Samsung was its natural colors. Usually I discard pictures where the colors are not right. I guess that most smartphone users also value correct colors. Smartphone pictures are rarely enlarged to a size where the weaknesses of the Samsung camera described in the article matter.
A possible explanation for Samsung's caring for the colors, is that of all the g four compared makes, Samsung is the only one that manufactures cameras

Do you realize how stupid you sound? Samsung fanboy
