Canada Post is the example of how "union" workers kill a good thing, it's happening to all Unionized corporations around the world, I personally have had a few bad experiences with Canada Post and tend to avoid using them.
I use to contribute to the Flickr collection with Getty.Getty has recently kill that venture with Flickr and all the contributors of that venture were migrated to Getty Images Moment. so your info is wrong there is no ventures between Flickr and Getty anymore. Here is the official letter Getty send me and it clearly explains that they are no longer working with Flickr.
Today we are announcing that we provided notice to terminate our existing agreement with Flickr. Our original agreement reached its end, and while we continue to be open to working with Yahoo!/Flickr, we have not agreed to a new agreement at this time.
I would buy it, but the attachments look fake to me, I have the Z2 and love it
D1N0: Shot with a German camera. Weren't the Zorki's any good?
You are the worst troll, are you like 5 years old...LOL, tag you're it.
You do...LOL, because you can't shut up ;)
I'm not Canadian ;) and my brother killed lots of Commies in Africa ;)
peevee you sound like a commie, we all know Merica and the Ruskies took German scientist after the war and developed their tech from stolen intellect, yes the Chinese were intelligent people 500 years ago but under communist rule smart people were usually killed because dump people don't ask questions ;)
George Veltchev: Well .... I didn't noticed that the Germans lost the damn war ...
Who cares about the American taxpayer...LOL, they beat Nazi Germany but let the Russian rape pillage and destroy European culture and Democracy so if you ask me "MERICA" did not win at all, they half ass everything.
Russians and Chinese only know how to copy, the Zorki was made from stolen German equipment and intellect
SantaFeBill: What does the 'D.R.P.'under 'Leica' stand for?
It stands for Deutsches Reichspatent and was changed to D.B.R Deutsches Bundespatent..."Federal German Patent" after the fall of the Third Reich
Great now the new Nokia phones will be the most boring phone out there, good job.
steelhead3: I guess the reviewer was not familiar with the Sony lens line up "(there's no real portrait prime"; what is the 50 1.8? The ZA Emont 55 1.8 is also available.
E-mount has the Sony 35mm F1.8 OSS = 52mm or the Zeiss 32mm F1.8 Touit = 48mm, they would work just fine as a portrait prime, IMO not to mention the Sony 50mm F1.8 OSS = 75mm or the new Zeiss 50mm F2.8 Touit =75mm
Are they not already 10% owned by the Chinese company FOXCONN?
Like it, now I can follow all the trolls
viking79: Pop up viewfinder is nice, but how does one hold onto that camera? It looks like it has no comfortable way to hold it.
viking79, You are just jealous Samesong did not copy this... "well yet".You can buy a stick on grip for the front, they have been available for the RX100 for years now.http://store.sony.ca/attachment-grip-zid31-AGR1/cat-31-catid-All-RX100?_t=pfm%3Dproduct_cross_sell%26pfmvalue%3D31-AGR1
AngryCorgi: Samsung has become the biggest "me too" company on the planet. Let's release an identical camera to every other one except we'll design the exterior "scheme" to mimic Fujifilm's X series or an old film camera. That will differentiate it.
@ThePhilips,.. Samesong "fanbois" infiltrated DPR.
People, get a clue: Sony NEX was the first "RANGEFINDER" Style APS-C mirrorless system.
Plastic fantastic = Samsung premium.
Prognathous: Why the hell do they need to come up with a new lens mount? Enhancing M-mount to support AF or using the royalty-free Sony E-mount would have been much better than introducing yet another mount. We already have too many mounts, it's time to consolidate not add.
So how is Japanese lenses 100% German?, funny how fast people discount how good Sony/ Zeiss lenses are but jump to try and justify Cosina Co.Ltd who makes lenses for Zeiss/Sony and Panasonic/Leica are 100% Leica. One thing for certain "RAW" nobody but you claims Samsung makes lenses.
Fazal Majid: For the naysayers: you are not the target market. The people who buy this are those who want true Leica lens quality or brand image (not a rebadged Panasonic), but find the M rangefinder system too difficult to use. It will sell like pancakes, although arguably the X Vario is a better choice for that audience.
Correction, Leicasonic lens quality.
Boerseuntjie: For the price of the body you can buy a Sony A6000 with Zeiss 16-70mm F4 lensand it comes with a viewfinder build in...LOLhttp://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1038726-REG/sony_alpha_a6000_mirrorless_digital.html
@Bhima78... Blah, Blah, Blah, since when is the EM-1 an APS-C camera?
