Well it does call better than my D3 or D800 for sure....that is why I use a phone and not a camera which pretends to be a phone for calling and social messaging.

I have the same experience with my copy. The 14-24mm I usually focus manually, on my D3S and the D700 I do not need any kind of adjustments to make. It also auto focuses perfectly fast.
