I find it hard to believe that the new M would perform so poorly at ISO3200.  I wonder if they made a mistake with labelling of images.

The difference can be quite considerable between shooting at arms length vs bracing a camera against your face, at least for those that don't wear glasses.

The high minimum shutter speed is necessary when composing using the LCD at arms length. It is difficult to hold a camera steady when shot this way. Shooting through a viewfinder with the camera...

I checked both the online manual and the specs section of the RX1 page on the Sony Australia site. The manual shows 50p however since it also shows 60p, Sony may have just uploaded a generic...

I was reading through the RX1 thread on FM Forums and there's some comments from an Aussie RX1 owner confirming the RX1 will only do 1080/50i in Australia. Bummer.

According to the Sony Australia website, the RX1 will not do 1080/50P video @ 28Mbs. It is limited to 1080/50i @ 24Mbs.Are there any Aussie RX1 owners that can verify whether this is the case?

Not sure how they're "exactly" the same.  According to DXO, the 5N has better high ISO performance.

Has he updated his 1990's style user interface?  I subscribed some years ago and it was impossible to compare and make any sense of images since viewing is via a very small window.
