This is the 1st photo in the back yard from the Minolta md 28-85 lens. Shot at f4.0 using manual focus with focus peeking. I am happy with the results. I know it is a very bad photo, but I wanted to test the sharpness, depth of field, and contrast/saturation. This was shot in jpg.

This sound similar to what Nikon is already doing with the 1 series camera in taking 5 photos and then comparing them and choosing the best one for sharpness, color, contrast, etc. It then allows you to override the camera choice and choose one of your own.
