Ok, here is what I'm talking about.
Look towards the outter edges of the hair, the refine edge tool is smudging all the hair.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
-
Never used it but will give it a try on my next composite.I have a series of composites to make for family group shots.I'll post something shortly. Thanks again!

LOL, absolutely not showing off!!!This is one of my better ones.Any tips for removing the "gray" color of hair when using the refine edge tool and painting in fly aways and such? Also the...

Hey guys,
As title reads, I'm new to it. Still fighting with hair and fringing a bit.
I do use the refine edge tool but find contamination and fringing still to be a problem.
Anyway, here is my...

Great! My otg cable should be here soon, plan to use my nexus 7.Also bought a hard back cover and will look at ways to Mount the tablet to the hot shoe.
-
I'm not a pro photog, but I think you did a great job.
Pic 10 appears back focused, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. Were you in dynamic 9 point or single point?
-
For whatever reason, I've found that light room 4 can lift shadows much cleaner than NX2.
Try it.
-
Good news, so did you experience any focus hunting or hesitation to lock focus?
-
Great shots!!I hear people complaining on the low light focusing of the d600 compared to the d800, do you see any low light focus struggling with the d600?
-
These are outstanding!I might have to invest in a beamer myself. Always was curious if they really work or not.
-
Then stop discussing.
I on the other hand I am free to discuss.
I never mentioned type of body in my OP. So a d800 body with the specs outlined above wouldn't interest anyone?
-
Wrong! The d600 and d800 does not shoot at 7-8 fps. Sure the D4 does, but that's a completely different animal.
-
It would also shoot DX, but at 10mp.1.3 crop is handy on the d800, so I could see it used here as well.
-
Very feasible I think:24mp FX @7fps1.3 crop ~15mp @8fpsGrip + battery increases fps by 124mp sensor from d60025-30 shot bufferThoughts?

What's the best photography based monitor available right now for $400?
Del u2410 is $399 right now so I'm thinking I should go that route, would appreciate your opinions!
-
I'm familiar with lifting shadows in D800 shots at low ISO, but wouldn't high iso (12800) shadow lifting cause massive noise?
-
Lol, this was a trampoline family play place. So would you guys have shot at higher iso's?
-
Sigma 70-200I wanted to raise shutter, but at 12800 @ 1/500, I was a little nervous to do so. Same problem with Aperture. Are you saying you would of rather shot 1/640 at >15000 ISO?I don't...
-
Hey guys,Do these look acceptable at ISO 12800 to you? Both shot at 1/500 2.8 @12800 (well one is 11404) Very dim lighting! They were PP in LR4 and resized to 2048. I know my NR PP skills need work!
