I mean.. start the video recording at wide angle, then zoom in, and press shutter halfway to refocus... that should work right?

I bought 2 SX50's one for me one for my cousin (he paid me cash for his)  so I qualified for the 18 months to pay ($429 and up purchase) .. and I do not have any intention of returning the camera.....

how do I find out what firmware I have on my SX50? I looked at settings i can't seem to find it.. apparently there is 2 versions of the SX50? a B and a C?  what is the difference? I did that rename...

thanks all..I am not really sold to the Nikon 1 system.. I only have the J1 and 10-30 lens.. I just thought I could play with it with a dumb adapter so I can use my existing nikon lenses...if ever...

make that shutter speed 1/ISO :-)

I have not received my dumb adapter as well.. but I would think I will put my J1 in M mode, use sunny f16 rule and maybe 1/focal length as shutter speed and then bracket..changing the aperture or...

my dumb adapter has a tripod mount.. and I was actually thinking of using a pillow to rest the length of the lens :-)

i wish the samsung Note 2 has some cases where there will be a built in grip.. so when i use it as a camera...

I just got this lens, it focuses on my D300s, quite fast and responsive actually, but is the somewhat grinding noise normal? Not like gears grinding noise but it is just noisy.. Anyone have any...
