Leica wasn't the first manufacture to come up with that "rangefinder" design, have you seen cameras from the past century...

Due to the sensor there isn't proper support for its RAW files, that's why they look so bad, in order to get proper comparison you'd have to compare JPEGs. It's quite embracing that they haven't...
