These *A99* rumor specs attract me the most:
- Digital infrared filtering with three modes NO IR,WITH IR,ONLY IR
- In camera moire remove

Created thread TX200 is very attractive, but the front glass plate . . .
TX200 is very attractive, very thin and water resistant, but the front glass plate . . .
Is it coated? Will it create light leaks, and seems it is not shock proof

Or may be I can just directly attach a filter on the lens? Looks like a 49mm filter can be attached .

Replied in G1X at Amazon
Thanks Misha and Hanks, seems the 58C is small and should be cheap, the small size is a good news to me, I want to use the G1X with a polarizer in a quiet bus or train to capture landscape outside,...

Replied in G1X at Amazon

Replied in A99, If It Has Video (needs)
I think SLT also vibrate much less than SLR, imagine 1DX mirror flip and flop 14 times per second though not related to video taking.

Replied in Sony A99 vs Nikon D800
I had a A55, image quality is good enough, and two more things that may make Sony better:
- Tamron is a Sony company
- The translucent mirror do not vibrate vigorously like SLR

Commented on Canon EOS-1D X overview article
I think this camera will have a life cycle of at least 5 years and will mark the end of DSLR era like EOS 1V marked the end of SLR. EVF and mirrorless will certainly take over.
