One could say the dark background line aligned with the head is unfortunate, but that is a such a small element of this lovely photo that it is of small matter. Well done, well taken, good pic :-)

Sorry, missed your question at the time. I don't do much filming, so haven't had it checked/repaired.

If you're wanting to go wider, I would add that your aim should be to get an ultra-wide angle lens AND a FF camera when you can. The 24mm on a FF is already pretty good, I kicked off with a 5D and...

Same thing happened to mine after I sold it!Don't worry, Canon does fix it free of charge whatever the age of the camera.

The CF card is faster, and if I'm not mistaken it's mentioned in the manual. Fastest speed is obtained using CF only.I'll look up the manual later...This will mostly be useful for long bursts of...

I don't think I'll argue with that :-)Maybe.;-)It does depend on the purpose of the photo, many bird books just need something good enough to recognize the beast. I have found the 500mm gets me...

Big difference between FF and crop bodies. Two of the corrections are vignetting and CA, which are stronger in the FF corners.

After a quick test : it does work quite well and is quite fast and accurate, except when the focus is set very close and you try and focus on something distant - it takes maybe 1-3 seconds (eg...

Exactly same issue with mine :-(

That's curious, on a British or French keyboard, the "é" is found with ALT + 130.Anyway, wherever you are in the world, you can just play with trying ALT + 130, ALT + 131, ALT + 132... and carry on...

I've just posted an idea for a quick filter that would be as good as a separate forum for those that want it. You could instantaneously filter out the series that don't interest you at that time. ...
-
Hi all,Following the request of a few 1D series owners who would like to see a separate forum, I submitted a "Quick Filter" suggestion via the feedback link. Here's the idea, please feel free to...

I would go a bit easier on the sharpening, but fabulous shot! :-)
