The Fuji X Pro 1 the big bro is a superlative camera. The photo reproduced with the 35 mm is film like. I bought the original Fuji M adapter for Leica M Lens to use on the X Pro 1. It fits nicely. I use the X Pro 1 with Leica lens or with the Fuji lens. One can have the best of both worlds. Beside i have another camera body and the M9P.It is debatable that some says that it's autofocus is slow in poor lighting conditions. Solution use a faster card and remember toformat the card in the XPro1. The difference between formatting and failure to format the card is a detectable difference in the speed of the autofocus. Try it. Patch 2.0 should make the autofocus even faster.
Looking forward to the new software up grade 2.0 for the X Pro 1 to enable faster autofocus in poor lighting environments. This patch is said to enable faster focus. Also interesting to see the 18-55mm lens tested. I read that this is an all metal zoom lens and any doubts as to the lower quality of zooms as compared to prime lens, given Fuji's expertise in making quality lens should be put to rest.
Also read there is now a discount of $300 on the XPro 1 if sold with a combination of any of the existing prime lens. Don't know if this true ? Maybe just dealers panicking to clear overstocks and not a policy of Fuji as the principal. Of course not withstanding the new X-E1. Don't like this news as early adopters paid full price without discounts.
