Opinion: The 300D is my second digital camera. My first being the G2. My first impression of the camera when I took it out of the box was how great it felt in my hand. It was light but didn’t feel cheep and the hand grip was great.
Because I am not nearly a professional and the 300D is my first digital SLR. I can only compare it to my G2.
This is an amazing camera it focuses super fast and almost all of my shots are in focus. The picture quality is supurb the battery is excellent. In my non professional opinion. this camera compares to other DSLR cameras in almost every way except one. THE PRICE which makes it a no brainer. At full retail my G2 was only $100.00 cheaper then the 300D and the G2 doesn’t even compare to the 300D.
Problems: The only thing I don’t like is the way the flash pops up. It startles me.
